Detecting language please wait for.......
Hi, I've many xliff files with 2-letter language coding:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?><xliff xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:xliff:document:1.2" version="1.2"><file original="1-b6de1de89058fcb96bd8" source-language="it" target-language="en" datatype="plaintext"><header>....
When opening for translation, Studio says "The detected target language does not match that expected by the project".
How can set Studio to accept 2-letter code?

Not really the right question. You should be asking how do I get a fully qualified XLIFF?
However, having 2-letter codes isn't normally an issue, you just see a message because Studio has no idea what variant of the language it should be. Does the message actually prevent you from translating the file?
Thank you Paul, you're right but this is what I get from the customer ;)
And yes, the message prevent me from opening the file, so I cannot translate it.
Can I see the file? You can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org if this is acceptable? Certainly I can create a project with the language codes you have shown without any problems at all... so the issue has to be something else.
Done. By the way, when I change it into it-IT and en into en-GB it works.
Just to close this off for others. The problem was caused by the project template containing multiple target languages that did not match the XLIFF languages at all. The solutions are these:
