SDL Freshstart 2021

Question

I have recently upgraded my Studio licence to the 2021 version, and I have also downloaded and installed the new version of SDL Freshstart, with support for Studio 2021. 
 However, after a successful installation, the app does not open, and there is no error message. It simply does not open. 
 I have tried several times to download and install it again, but the problem persists. 
 I do not even know who to turn to for support... 
 Can someone help?

 We have just released an updated version on the RWS AppStore that should fix this issue for you. 
 https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/sdl-freshstart/876/ 
 Please remove the old version first via Windows/Control Panel/Programs and Features before installing. 
 Should problems persist, please save the text file you will find here- 
 C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\RWS AppStore\TradosFreshstartLogs\TradosFreshstartLogs.txt. 
 
 and also the Windows Event viewer logs-

 This will enable to see what is probably causing the problems.

 Just a quick question because as I read through this I'm not sure that you and Steve are talking about the same thing at all. You seem to be referring to the Freshstart App and Steve seems to be referring to Studio. 
 So I'm just making sure we understand what your problem really is because the support team probably won't help with the Freshstart App. For help with that you are in the right place. 
 Please confirm and then we can try and help with the appropriate problem.

 ok. So lets start from the beginning. First of all go to your windows control panel and uninstall all versions of "SDL Freshstart" that you can find under " Uninstall or change a program ". 
 Once you have removed all traces of this application that may be there download and install the new version for 2021. Once installed it should look like this: 
 
 You should also have an icon on your desktop. So please run the application by double clicking the icon and see whether you still have the same issue.
