Detecting language please wait for.......
Being unable to type English texts in target segments has been a big problem. Only Burmese texts appear no matter how hard I try. I have given many attempts to solve this issue, but to no avail. Due to this issue I can't use Trados for many projects.
I'd be very grateful if somebody can help me out.
Looking forward to your kind assistance.
Thanks in advance,
If you mean that Burmese characters appear when you type then is surely an IME problem?
Thanks for your response. To be honest, I am not sure whether it's an IME problem or not. Sometimes it happends with all segments and sometimes it happends with some sentences.
I tried to change the input methods, but it didn't work.
Silly question I know... but perhaps you're catching a keyboard shortcut that switches the languages? I do this sometimes and I have an Arabic keyboard in my settings and sometimes find I'm typing with Arabic characters:
I didn't try to find out what the shortcut was as it happens rarely... but maybe worth checking? Looking now it seems to be Win+Space.
As I have said, I had done what you suggested, but to no avail. Whatever languages I changed, English characters didn't appear when this happened.
