I'm trying to remove a shortcut without success (so it can use it for something else)
eg. if i remove Ctrl + I from the KeyBoard Shortcut menu, it is still active when I use the command, in this case it still inserts source text into target segment. Even after I open and close the software. Seems to be the same problem with other cntrl combos.
Is there something else I need to do ?
Resetting the shortcuts has sorted it, thanks!
I must have changed them at some point in the past and forgotten.
Hello Ian Teacher
Which version of Studio are you using?
When I delete the shortcut-
and then go back to the editor- I can manually apply (in this case Italics) but the shortcut itself is disabled.
Studio 2021, 2021 SR1 - 188.8.131.5284.
I have tested this with a number of shortcuts (same Studio version) are unable to reproduce this.
Perhaps running a Studio repair, might fix this for you.
I'll give it a try, thanks.
Did you remove the cntr + I shortcut and it stopped inserting the source text into the target segment?
I have the same issue in studio 2019 as well.
What is odd is that the cntr + I shortcut is listed under "Italic" on the shortcut menu, but it actually copies source to target
When I originally read your post I only checked the Italics shortcut, which should be (default) CTRL+I
Copy source to Target is CTRL+INS. (which I have also checked and is correct)
After repairing Studio, have you fried setting the shortcuts back to default?
In Studio, what Profile do you have set?
If this was a Studio issue- then lots of users would be reporting this- so I'm sure this is indeed a local issue.
