I opened Trados Studio 2021 last night and noticed that all (or at least some) of the colours I had previously customised had changed.
I opened Studio 2021 so I could copy/paste the previous colours I had previously transferred from the Colors section under Options.
Once again, a good deal of the colours had been removed (so I had no reference to what I should change to in Studio 2021).
I then decided to change the colours "manually" in Studio 2021 and got the error message "Control does not support transparent background colors."
Something's fishy. Does anyone have any clues?
Hello Nathanael Fourie ,
This sounds likely that the basic setting have become corrupted.
I would suggest in this case to reset (make surte Studio is closed first)
Go to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio
and rename the Studio16 folder (just add_old or something)
Then restart Studio,.
Did this resolve the issue for you?
Hi Steven Whale
I did a reset, but I don't think that was the problem in the end.
I think that one of the colours had a transparency setting in it and Trados didn't like that (see image).
That doesn't explain, though, why all/most of my colours had been removed - even in Trados 2019 (which I don't use these days).
