So, I have opened my subtitling project, with my .srt template, TM and MT are working, I can see the video playing, but there is no sound. It is an ordinary Quicktime video with AAC and H.264 codecs. It plays in my other applications so it is not a question of missing codec. Being able to hear the voices I am translating would be really nifty, so I am grateful for any suggestion. Thanx. Daniel
Hello Daniel Olsson ,
Would you be able to share the files with me please (swhaleATsdl.com) so we can take a look?
No, I can't do that due to confidentiality.
I tried reformating the sound part of the video, but still got no sound through Studio. Video codec is h.264, sound was AAC, tried now with mpeg, to no avail. I got this error message:
I figure it must be a missing sound codec, because I can play 3 out of 5 videos delivered by this client. I can see no significant difference in the metadata, however.
These are the metadata of the files that don't play through studio:
These are metadata of the files that I do get sound through Studio with:
Is there a list of the codecs that Studio Subtitle comes with?
or a list of the audio and video file formats it accepts?
Then I could reformat the films to one of those.
