Is there any way to configure the SubRip File Type extension to not strip out timecodes from SRT files? These can often be helpful in assessing how long each subtitle can be. Thank you in advance!
This is actually part of the core product now and isn't an appstore filetype anymore. On your question, I think the only configurable capability is these four things:
The timecodes are stripped in the underlying code for the filetype, so this would have to be an enhancement request that Patrik Mazanek might be able to answer... perhaps?
You can use the preview - there you can see the times. Patrik

A very old post I know, but I thought I'd update it since we now have video preview capability in Studio through a plugin and also support for more source types.
