I wonder if there is a quick way, such as an SDL app, that can convert a local project to an online project in Studio 2021?
I have a project that I am interested in trying out the STL environment with, but I stopped half way through when I was setting up the TM resources in STL. This project has ten TMs and 3 termbases attached to it, and it was a tedious process re-creating everything just to use it in the online environment.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
Hello Chunyi Chen ,
Currently, it is not possible to migrate a local project or open a package in the cloud.

Thanks for the information. I look forward to seeing this functionality implemented:)
But as Trados Live evolves, this is functionality that we will be looking at to implement in the future.
I was wondering at least if it were possible to export/transfer a local TM or termbase to studio live?
Yes there is Mark - you can import TMX or even SDLTM for translation memories, and you can import MultiTerm XML/XDT when creating a cloud termbase. See https://docs.sdl.com/812699/815220/trados-live-essential/importing-tm-content for TMs and https://docs.sdl.com/812699/880623/trados-live-essential/exporting-data-from-------------multiterm-to-cloud for termbases. In future we are looking at creating specific wizards for this also as part of evolving our cloud offerings.
