For some reason, when an approved segment is autopropagated in Trados Studio, the comments it contains are not.
Is there a way to keep the comments within the approved segments?
It is a rather tedious task to copy each comment every time a segment is autopropagated…
Maybe you could use the advanced display filter like this. First you do this:
Filter on the AP'd segments:
To get this:
Then add your comments in one go like this:

I can confirm that the nature of how Auto propagate works, is that it only replicates the target translations.Comments are not replicated.Without making assumptions, can you explain why its helpful to have replicated comments?If I understand more, I can perhaps find an alternative wayLooking forward to your feedback so we can support you

Some clients require that comments be repeated to avoid any oversight.
Anyway, don't worry about it.
I'll bite the bullet and take the time to copy out the comments as I usually do.
You can't ask the software to do more than it can!
Now I have seven comments all the same, and all the same time stamp so you can see they were added in one go:
Maybe still not exactly what you want, but maybe it's faster than copy and paste?
Your in-depth knowledge of the software will never cease to amaze me...
The solution you are proposing is excellent and I will put it into practice in the future. It will save me a lot of time.
