I am having a problem where if I am working on a file and get sent another file through groupshare it always tells me I do not have the permission to check it out. The only solution to this is to close the file I am working on and then close and reopen Trados. I can then check-out the file. So essentially every time I want to open a new file I have to close all the files I am working on and then close and reopen Trados, which is becoming very annoying not to mention affecting my productivity.
Would anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
Hello Rebecca Milner ,
As this appears to be an error with GS (and we don't know what version your client is running), its perhaps worth contacting your client who should be able to help.
They should also have the ability to log a support ticket if required.
Hi Steven,
Thanks for your answer. My client doesn't know what the problem is so I think I will have to try the approach of getting them to log a support ticket.
Rebecca
