KB article 1521 explains how one can customize the email notification templates in GS 2017.

However it does not say what one needs to do in order to apply the changes. Will the modified .CSHTML file automatically be taken into account once it is saved or is an additional step required?

The article also states: "Depending on how the SMTP server set in the Project Server Notification Settings is configured, either the *.html version or the *.text version will be sent to the user."

However, I can't find any option in the "Project Server Notification Settings" that specifies whether the notification email should be in text or in HTML format. Where is this setting?
