When trying to create a TM, the last step of wizard displays an error:
"Translation Memory was not saved. A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"
What could be the problem?
There could be various reasons for that problem so I think it would be best to ask a support engineer from SDL to look at your Groupshare configuration. Having said that, I would check the following:
1. Check your SQL server is running (maybe try restarting it)
2. Check if you can create Translation Memories using a local connection on the server (localhost)
If you can, make sure firewall allows access to the ports needed for Groupshare.
