Error message when trying to connect a termbase in Passolo

Hi,

I have a translation project in Passolo 2016 and was given instructions to use a termbase.

 

I tried to follow the instructions here but I receive an error message when browsing for the SDLTB file:

Trados Studio error message dialog box over the termbase selection window, indicating 'The selected file is an incompatible format. Select a file with one of the following extensions: .sdltb, .mdb, .edt, .txt, .csv, .xls, .xlsx'.

Any hint how to fix that ? I have Multiterm 2017 and 2019 installed.
