GroupShare Version Fetch - Authentication options

The GroupShare Version Fetch application is a plugin to Studio which supports downloading as many versions for as many files in as many projects across as many organisations as you like.
A great tool for anyone using the versions to create comparison reports for example.

 

Authentication options

When you click on GroupShare Version Fetch icon you will be welcomed by the login screen in which you'll see at least two types of authentication:

  1. SDL Authentication - your SDL credentials must be used
  2. Windows Authentication - your windows credentials must be used

And besides those two, depending on the configuration of the GS Server that you're accessing, you'll find other types of authentication like

  1. Auth0
  2. Okta

which implement SSO, enabling you to use the same credentials for more than one service.
