Lurkers…

What a horrible name… lurkers !  It carries all kinds of negative connotations from science fiction monsters to the stuff of nightmares where we think of spying and being followed by something or someone we don’t like.  Of course I’m not using this term in these contexts so I better explain.  I’m talking about communities and user participation, or more specifically about users who read and observe but rarely contribute to the conversations at all.   • I like this post very much Paul.  There is some much in all of us that's worth sharing. Every day we do things, we learn things, we find things, we read things that are or can be of value for others. To your point, it can be exactly the missing piece in a puzzle someone else try to solve.  It's not a must to write a novel ..quick and small  items or replies are perfectly ok and can be valuable. Even a small thing like  "liking content" is very valuable because  it drives the content valuation process that makes good content stand out. ..And it's just one click away :-) Definitely a step we all can take.
