We have introduced many options around this over the years - in latest Studio 2017, we have:
- File - Options - Automation - "Perform automated lookup on confirmed segments" - turn this off to avoid MT lookups on confirmed segments (which also applies to MT segments which you have post-edited and confirmed)
- In Project Settings - TM - Search - "Look up segments in MT even if a TM match has been found"
Hence setting "Idea delivered partially" for now.
If Trados were able to store the search results for some time, especially for machine translation, this would once again speed up the whole process and be more friendly to our budgets, because Trados wouldn't query MT engines every time we go back to a previous segment.
