my 2 cents:
- being able to perform some operations on sdlxliff files like changing some TU metadata or loookup for specific words and adding informations on tu
- being able to declare if my custom task can work in cooperation with other tasks (like pretranslate -> analyze) or if they require some other task/condition to be performed/fulfilled before being used
- being able to export analyze data or other kind of information via xml file or even better: make a http request/soap-rest call
- being able to write a report so that Trados can see it between other project reports.
