Linguistics and Cultural Forum

Good Day Sir

I am sure this community could be one of the largest gathering of translators around the world. We are talking here about 6000 languages and hundreds if not thousands of different cultures. Translators using Trados might encounter problems regarding the translation of certain items related to language systems or cultural meaning and perception. Naturally, most of the translators can ask on different websites like Quora or Reddit. Since a great number of Trados users are from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds and at the same time they are familiar with this community so how about establishing ane linguistic and cultural forum to exchange information and seek guidance regarding certain problematic issues. Just an idea.

    Thanks for your idea. Can you describe a bit more what your have in mind with "a linguistic and cultural forum to exchange information and seek guidance regarding certain problematic issues". What kind of information and guidence do you have in mind ? Maybe you have some concrete examples ?
