I'm not a programmer, but I’ve tried adapting the cshtml files (both the txt and the html ones) simply in Notepad and copying parts of the parameters (like: @Model.Project.Name) and inserting them into other parts of the email, hoping the variables would show up in the message. They don't. I still get the original message. Somehow I must be doing it wrong. Do you need to compile them or change any other configuration?

So in a nutshell: How do you adapt the email templates from PS so they show up as you want them to?

I want a subject line that reads: “Project Server: @Model.Project.Name |@Project.FileDetail.DueDate”
