Make "Allow source editing" and "Disable merging across paragraphs" available in project templates

Currently, these options are only available while creating a project or in the project settings. However, I think these options should also be available in the template editing.

Another old one. Take a closer look at this, as this functionality is dearly missed.

  • Hello Jerzy,

I agree! However, in the meantime, I’ve found a workaround that effectively sets this in the project template:

    1. Create a project with your project template, making sure you check or uncheck "Allow source editing" and "Disable merging across paragraphs" as per what you want in the project template (but don’t change any other settings!).
    2. Once the project has been successfully created, select "Update the template on which you based this project ([template name]) with the settings used for the current project.

Afterwards, whenever you create a project with this template, the two checkboxes will be checked or unchecked as per what you had selected in that project.

    Hope this helps!
