Hi Ulrich,

I'm not sure I fully understand your idea. Could you clarify?

You can already perform a full text search across your termbase, which will highlight all matches.

Thanks,
Luis

Search Improvements

Problem: Finding all items witch contain "steal" (for example "steel", "acid steel", "amagnetic steel" ecc.) in Termbank one by one. There is no field where to write the searched word in.

Resolve: Create a field where you can insert the searched word and two buttons with "search up" and "search down".

  • Hello Luis,

    thanks for asking.

What I thought for was, when I work in SDL-Trados-Studio and open the Window Termbank View I see my long list of terms and that’s OK. But now I wish to have a field like searchfield in MS-Word where I can enter a string and a button “find next”. So SDL jump to each Termbank-entry which contains this word. So when I enter for example “steel” first I see "acid steel", then "amagnetic steel” and at least “steel".

Hope that explains the idea a little bit more.

    Have a nice day, Ulrich
