Make the OK button on the QA Regular Expressions window save changes.

It would be helpful if the OK button on the QA Regular Expressions window saved the changes.

I mean (don't want to be rude, but ) what's the point of having an OK and Cancel button, if the OK button doesn't save the changes?

Currently, you have to use the Action pull-down button and select Update every time you make a change, and this is not really intuitive.

 

Or, it would be helpful, when a change is made and the user clicks OK without clicking Update to show a dialog box saying "Do you want to save the changes?"

  • Me, too, I often forget to select "Update Item" and lose all the editing work on the current RegEx. This could be made more user-friendly. The OK button actually only refers to the complete set of project template settings, the OK button is not related to RegEx currently being updated.
