Delivered via RegEx functionality, so setting this to delivered partially

QA checker : make it checking the presence of a non breaking space

Currently we can check that there is a space before the French punctuation marks (!:;) . But we can not check that the space is indeed a non breaking space as required by the language.

My personal tweak is to filter on the punctuation and to manually check but if this could be automated it would save a lot of time.

  • Use the regex part of the QA checker. The regex would be:

    nothing in source

    \w(?:\u0020|\u202F|\u200A)?[!;:]

    check if target matches

    Put your French punctuation marks inside the square brackets…

  • Or... just search for any space apart from the non-breaking space:

    \w[^\S\u00A0][!;:]

    If you create your QA check to look for that in the target, or even the display filter, it'll find every…
