Regex for Alphanumeric Strings and Variables

Now, a code like RB_45/R1 is not recognized like 1 placeable because the character '/' splits the recognition.

I'd like a way to setup using a regex rule supporting this kind of recognition. This could be done or using the 'Variable' or an extra option for the TM > 'Fields and Settings' > 'Alphanumeric Strings'.

  • Agree wholeheartedly with this request. Think of the product catalogs that are translated every day that contain hundreds of product IDs which currently are not auto-transposed or captured in QA checks because of a character within the alphanumeric code. Product IDs are critical to these clients so there is no room for error.
