Symptoms/Context:

Following ETS 8.0.1 installation the Tranlsation Engine is stuck "starting"

Root Cause:

The NVIDIA drivers and/or Cuda 8 are not installed.

Resolution:

For the GPU configuration, both the NVIDIA drivers and Cuda need to installed if they havenâ€™t already:

.Cuda 8
.Drivers (v384.66)

Once installed verify the GPU is detected by running the 'nvidia-smi' command and verifying it lists the K80 GPU as detected.
