default filenames and locations

looking in documentation for XPP 9.3 for the location of printer configuration files and name...anyone know it off the top of their head.  We're moving from 9.0 to 9.3 this weekend and I really don't want to have to rebuild all the xyadmin tables for printers, autoproc, bgq.

Parents
  • If you are on the same system they will be available. If you are moving to a new system they are in a “.xz_profle” for each user.

  • We are going to a new server.  The files are handled under xyadmin and are not specific to each user.

  • The files Steve Piercey is talking about are the "Personal" Process Dialog (Print) profiles (for PathFinder/xzplorer).

The corresponding "System" Process Dialog profiles live under XYV_EXECS/sys/print.

If you're talking about other system-level configuration files, they typically live in the  XYV_XECS/sys/config folder.

Assuming your on some UNIX platform, one example is the _pmf_config.sde file (Printer Map File). There you will also find the _bgq_config.sde BGQ (BackGround Queue) and _sap_config.sde SAP (System Auto-Processing) configuration files.
