Server based multiterm issues

Good afternoon, dear Trados team!

We are encountering the following errors while trying to open a termbase after creating and importing it into our Groupshare server.
We have tried creating it as an existing termbase, from a .xdt file and even from scratch.
Also, we followed this Trados tutorial: How do I upload a file-based termbase (.SDLTB) to a GroupShare server?

The log error is the following:

<SDLErrorDetails time="12/4/2023 1:10:50 PM">

  • Hi  , according to the error message stack trace, I can see that the Trados Studio and Multiterm are installed on the Windows server, I believe it is the same one where you have GroupShare installed. Is it possible to install both softwares (Trados Studio and MultiTerm) on a different computer which is not a server? You can also test if you install only MultiTerm Desktop, and try to open the server termbase after that.

  • Yes, we also tried with no success.

    Error message in Trados Studio MultiTerm with details 'Method not found: Int32 Sdl.MultiTerm.Core.Utilities.CompareUtilities.GetSortKey' and a 'Knowledge Base Community' link.

  • We have a local groushare server, we do not work with cloud.
