We are pleased to release an update for the SDL Integration for Salesforce Knowledge. This delivers some key features as requested by customers.

Version 1.28

Article Batch Creation in Salesforce
Salesforce has a limit of 100 callouts in any one job, which was affected automated project creation with a batch or more than 50 articles. The app has been updated to change the batch size to 40. The app will still create single projects with up to 200 articles in any one submission.

Project Status Batch Log
The projectstatusupdatebatch document has a Salesforce size limit. Errors were seen displaying “Regex too complicated” meaning this file size was reached, and the download/publish process would fail.
The app has been updated so that each time the scheduled job runs, the document is deleted, and a new document created, containing all errors previously entered, plus any new errors. The new document has a date/timestamp in the filename.

Salesforce Article Number
The Article Number is now displayed in the project related information tab.

Salesforce Article links
The Article Name links are now correctly linked to the lightning and classic views of the translated article. Expanding the related table shows both links.

Article Number in Error logs
The Article Number is now added to the Error log displayed in the Salesforce project as well as the error log document and email notification.

SDL Worldserver version - enhanced logging
The log files for SDL WorldServer version have been imporved with more descriptive error logging
